Department of Panchakarma
Shree Jagadguru Gavisiddheshwara Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital was established in the year 1996-97. Panchakarma is one of the major branches in Ayurveda which includes procedures like Vamana, Virechana, Nasya, Basti, Raktamokshana and many other Upakarmas. The Department includes UG,PG and PhD Studies. The PG Department established in the year of 2010 and PhD dept established in the year of 2021. Department has 14 years old PG, 2 year old PhD. Our department has 5 teaching faculty, 15 non teaching faculty (Therapist -14, Attender -1). Theatre includes separate room for each procedure

Life style disorders
On OPD Basis we also advice minor procedures like Siravydha, Agnikarma, Jalouka, Upanaha, Cupping,etc
CAMPS CONDUCTED:
- Panchakarma dept regularly conducts free camps in various places in and around of Koppal. Scholars will get more exposure related to research work, more than 2000 people got benefited.
- We are also actively participating in the Mega camps conducted by our college.
- We are conducting Vasantika Vamana, Sharad Virechana which are considered as crucial for every year.
- Our dept has actively participated in all the national ayurveda days celebration since from its inception.
